My client is a growing distribution business who have a strong order book heading into 2017. Through further growth, they are now looking to strengthen their Finance team with the addition of an Assistant Management Accountant for their Stockport based site.
As the Assistant Management Accountant; you will be required to work closely with the Financial Controller on the overseeing of daily processing and Month End duties including:
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Accruals and Prepayments
- WIP and forecasting
The role requires a part qualified accountant who is looking to progress in their career. Ideally you will be studying towards your ACCA or CIMA and have previous experience of working in a similar assistant accountant role. You will be an ambitious and driven individual who is keen to develop in accountancy within a client facing, commercial role with board level exposure. Strong Excel skills are also required in this key position.
