Role - Commercial Accountant Location - Wigan Salary - £40,000 to £45,000 + benefits
Frazer John Recruitment Finance Division is recruiting for a fast growing retail business in their search for a Commercial Accountant to work out of their head office based just outside Wigan.
The Commercial Accountant will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong academic background although consideration will be given to outstanding candidates coming towards the end of their studies. Advanced Excel skills are absolutely crucial as is the ability to manipulate data and create financial models. Any exposure to working within a multi-site environment would be beneficial as would a history of working within a retail environment. The ability to form strong relationships with different areas of a business and support these financially will be absolutely critical. Some of the key duties for the role will involve:-

- Assist with financial planning and analysis throughout the business
- Complete and review all departmental budgeting and forecasting
- Business partnering with various other departments and providing key analysis
- Decision support
- Review and improve KPI analysis
- Creation and improvement of reporting throughout the organisation
- Ad-hoc project work
