Our Norwich based client are looking for a fully qualified accountant who is looking to develop their career as a Financial Accountant within the public services industry, an excellent opportunity for a 1st mover.

Your new role
Our client have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to assist the Group Financial Accountant with the preparation of the consolidated statutory accounts and all subsidiary company accounts.
Working closely with the auditors, you will ensure that the audit process runs smoothly and all information is provided in a timely manner.
You will also work with the Group Financial Accountant to strengthen the financial controls across the different divisions of the business and will promote best practice across the Finance team.

What you'll need to succeed
As a fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) from either an accountancy practice or audit background, you will be familiar with the production of year-end statutory accounts and audit planning.
We are seeking a highly confident, self-starter who is motivated to develop their career further, a strong communicator who preferably has experience of managing staff.
