PART TIME FINANCE MANAGER

4 DAYS A WEEK

£24,000 to £30,000 per annum

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To assist the Directors with all aspects of Finance, including preparing the Company accounts to trial balance and effectively producing the Company payrolls.

MAIN DUTIES

Maintain and update Company Job Book in line with Quality System.

Receive, allocate to job and orders, input to SAGE and pay all purchase invoices.

Prepare sales invoices using the Company job Book, type invoices, input to SAGE, send statements and receive payments from RBS.

Prepare weekly and monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation and Work in progress.

Reconcile all company bank accounts.

Prepare monthly reports and reconcile sales ledger for monthly cleardown.

Reconcile petty cash.

Reconcile VAT monthly, prepare quarterly return whilst ensuring compliance with HMRC.

Supervise processing of weekly and monthly payrolls, including auto enrolment pensions, P11D

information and ensure compliance with current legislation.

Supervise C I S, including monthly return and verification of sub-contractors.

Prepare and check trial balance for accountant to produce management accounts.

Prepare numerous spreadsheets for management information using Excel.

This role would suit either a qualified by experience or AAT qualified Finance Manager/Bookkeeper looking for a part time opportunity easily accessible via J33/34 of the M62.
