Due to growth, my client is recruiting a Senior Payroll Administrator to support the payroll manager in the production of UK, Ireland and Expatriate end to end payrolls circa 1350.

Client Details

My client is a global Technology company that are market leaders and have over 200,000 employees and are based in over 70 countries. Large modern offices based in the Chertsey area with free parking provided and easy access via public transport.

Description

The Senior Payroll Administrator role involves:

  • Ensuring payments to employees are accurate and timely.
  • End to end payroll processing via 3rd party and internal software.
  • Input of all UK payroll data changes inc - Starter, Leavers, Salary, Tax, Maternity, etc.
  • Checking/auditing of entered payroll data.
  • Creating and maintaining payroll policies and procedures.
  • Administration of payroll paperwork (Filing, Archiving)
  • Distribution of paper payslips and P45's.
  • Administration of the online payslip portal.
  • Month end reporting as required.
  • Review and reconcile monthly PAYE, Pension, Childcare Voucher an ISA schemes.
  • Preparation of Pension Report and Raise Payments to Pension Providers
  • Preparation and Creation or UK PAYE Payments.
  • Preparation and creation of PAYE, Childcare, Charity, CSA, ISA payments.
  • First line of contact for HR Teams
  • First line response to employees (Face to Face, Email, Phone)
  • Support the payroll manager with all year end tasks.
  • Cover payroll manager in absence.
  • End to end management of the outsourced Irish Payroll
  • Collate and prepare payroll data
  • Prepare BIK data for monthly processing.
  • Review and check returned data
  • Prepared and submit Irish Pension data to provider within given deadlines.
  • Prepare and process payments to 3rd parties
  • Managing relationship and software and systems suppliers

Benefits Reporting

  • Update all personal data changes into P11D system.
  • Data collation of benefits in kind.
  • Support the payroll manager with the updating of benefits
  • Support the payroll manager with distribution of the P11D's
  • Answer P11D queries.

Expatriate Payroll

  • Support the payroll manager with collation and input of expatriate payroll data.
  • Input of expatriate employee personal data changes into the P11D system.
  • Preparation and Creation or expat PAYE Payments.

Payroll Accounting

  • Supporting the Payroll Accountant with accounting queries and reporting.
  • SAP accounting of CHAPS payments raised from the payroll team
  • Journaling of 3rd party payments - Pension, PAYE, Ceridian.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Senior Payroll Administrator role will ideally be:

  • Hands on experience of payroll software
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment, take quick and effective decisions, and direct others.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, get key messages across succinctly and work with others.
  • Strong reporting skills, display key information and convey messages clearly, concisely and with impact.
  • Up to date knowledge of UK, Ireland Tax Regulations (NOT ESSENTIAL)
  • Studying for Payroll qualification or CIPP Qualified (NOT ESSENTIAL)
  • Experience of SAP accounting software, and / or Ceridian (NOT ESSENTIAL)

Job Offer

The Senior Payroll Administrator role can pay up to circa £31,000 + 10% bonus and excellent benefits
