Finance Business Partner
Stanton House are currently working exclusively with a high performing and instantly recognisable services company in Surrey. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant to join the team as a Finance Business Partner to support the Head office functions. This is a great role for an individual who has the foundations but wants to develop their career acting as a senior member of the finance function.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the production and consolidation of the detailed annual budgets/plans and monthly reforecasts predominantly for the Head Office functions, with a focus on expenses.
- Develop analysis to support plans and which demonstrate a sufficient level of challenge, including scenario and what-if analysis.
- Responsible for month end reporting output from the team, with support from junior analysts.
- Proactively seek to understand the key drivers of the result and measure overall performance against plan. Act as Finance lead to Heads of Departments, to explain and react to variance analysis and MI.
- Responsible for producing ad-hoc analysis to meet evolving business requirements. Participate in the decision-making process in the evaluation of performance and the impact of different initiatives.
- Responsible for coordination with the Corporate Planning Team to feed assumptions into the overall Group budgets/plans and provide requested analysis and commentary for presentation to the Group Board.
- Manage key inputs into the Financial Reporting Team for associated activities including monthly accruals and provisions, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly reports.
The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have advanced Excel skills. You will have excellent communication skills and hold the ability build relationships with senior stakeholders to aid key commercial decision making.
