Finance Project Manager

An international and diverse Consultancy are seeking an interim Finance Project Manager to help support the upgrade of the existing SAP system.

This interim opportunity is paying between £350 - £450 per day and is for a minimum of 9 months.

Job Description;

• Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project
• Competent in the project methodology and standards
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
• Works closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project
• Work in line with project budget and relevant business case
• Identify and resolve risks and issues
• Prepare and communicate project status reports to stakeholders

The successful candidate will;

• Be a CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified Accountant or overseas equivalent
• Have previous SAP or Oracle implementation / system upgrade experience
• Have been instrumental in Finance project delivery on a global scale
• Have project management expertise - awareness of Prince2 methods especially the roles of Project Executive and stakeholders
• Have experience of working in a matrix management environment
• Able to lead large teams effective delivery of large scale projects
