Project Accountant

Interim Accountant Job based in York.

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are currently recruiting for an interim Accountant to join a leading organisation based in York. This business has recently been through a period of change and due to the secondment of a key member of staff they are seeking an interim accountant to join them to undertake a project within their team.

Your new role
This interim job is expected to last approximately 4 - 6 months. Within this role you will be undertaking a project focused on financial reporting. The main responsibilities of this role will include building a reporting model to ensure that budgeting and forecasting figures and information can be easily sourced for reports which are due to be delivered to the board later this year. You will be focused on strengthening the reporting processes within the business to enable more consolidated information to be obtained and communicated effectively.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be qualified (ACCA,ACA, CIMA). The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills including advanced Excel Skills. You will have proven experience of forecasting, budgeting and reporting models.
