EMEA FP&A Leader
Multi million dollar Services Company is entering an exciting period of change and significant growth. After a sizeable acquisition and subsequent merger into the larger group, there is a need for an EMEA FP&A Leader to oversee the transition from overseas and then run the finance team as a regional structure. This leadership role will prove pivotal within the team and support a very exciting phase of expansion.
Responsibilities
- Partners with the markets to provide ongoing support to financial results by understanding business trends and drivers within the business in order to develop analysis based recommendations for business and executive management.
- Develop and improve financial processes including automation: Finance reporting tools, management reporting tools, budgeting, forecasting process and capital investment.
- Perform in-depth analysis on monthly and quarterly results for the region; develops narratives around variance analysis to present to key business leaders and senior leadership.
- Drives profitable and sustainable growth advising on risks and opportunities developed through scenario analysis and sensitivity testing- interfacing with regional management and local market management.
- Drive the region's rolling forecast process: directs and co-ordinates the process for the aligned markets across EMEA.
- Lead cross functional projects to drive simplification in process that reduce cost and improve profitability.
- Assists in the maintenance of the budgetary reporting system with analysis of business and user needs.
- Act as the region coordinator in driving the annual business plan and longer range expectations.
- Support and advise of M&A transactions.
- Act as financial advisor to several local markets in EMEA that have no local finance presence.
- Act as the main regional contact with the group finance function on actual for regional actual or forecast requirements.
You will possess extensive international company experience within a 'blue chip' environment, within an FP&A focused role. You will have an autonomous working style and understand how to manage stakeholders within a matrix environment. We are looking for a self starter, who can show demonstrable leadership skills. Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACMA Equivalent) with a strong academic record.
