Our client is a £50m+ t/o UK Manufacturing business operating in the Merseyside area. As part of a larger European company and a market leader in their field, they are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance team reporting directly to the UK Finance Manager in what is an exciting and varied role with responsibilities including:
Our client wants to consider a range of applicants; happy to consider applicants who are AAT Qualified, studying towards CIMA or ACCA, or fully Qualified, but applicants must have some previous experience of Management Accounting/Commercial Analysis, ideally having previously operated in a similar profile role for a fast paced manufacturing business. As the role involves liaising with a variety of teams, you must have strong communication skills and will have confidence and credibility when dealing with non-finance budget holders. Strong MS Excel skills are essential and SAP experience will be of particular interest. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a highly regarded and well managed business.

- Production and consolidation of monthly management accounts
- Creating monthly management accounts pack for local Directors team
- Preparing and reviewing production KPIs on a monthly basis
- Involvement in annual sales and investment budget process
- Working closely with sales teams to ensure that UK sales forecast is kept up to date and relevant
- Maintaining and explaining movements in company's UK full year sales forecasts
- Developing processes and systems to improve business efficiency and data quality
- Various ad hoc / project work as required by the business
