Financial Accounting Manager

The Role

My Client is currently sourcing for a highly capable financial accounting manager to join a high performing and incredibly driven finance team. The position sits within a global finance and has the opportunity for a large amount of career growth within the wider business.

As for the business itself, the company currently operates in over ten countries providing a range of key services to the wider telco community. Due to the range of services and the diverse area which the company provides these services over you will be required to be a dynamic and adaptable individual who can cope with an ever changing environment and it will be essential that you as a candidate is able to communicate strongly with all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the month end accounting procedures
• Uphold accurate currency cash-flow forecasts
• Assist the FC with particular requirements
• Maintain full ledger control and ensuring IFRS accounting standards are followed
• Preparing the statutory accounts
• Provide guidance on the adoption of new accounting standards
• Maintain a strong financial control function
• Improve processes as and where required
• Confirm expenses and supplier payment runs

Key Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qual
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A highly driven and focused personality
• A robust controls background
• A willingness to communicate with various stakeholders around the business
• Intermediate to advanced excel knowledge
• Strong leadership skills
