Are you a qualified ACA from practice with a strong audit and controls background and are keen to join a global Financial Services group? My client is looking for a Governance Manager to join their team based in the City of London.

You will be responsible for:
-The governance and quality assurance over financial reporting
-Working with the Head of Financial Governance in improving the business as usual controls assurance processes
-Liaising closely with the 2nd line of defence Risk team to ensure the consistency of their approach in adopting the Risk Management framework.
-Providing governance and controls leadership and will ensure all activities performed comply with relevant policies, business standards and regulatory requirements.
-Overseeing the production of timely and quality Executive Committee, Board and Audit Committee reporting, ensuring that financial risks are identified and reported.
-Identifying and leading the implementation of improved financial reporting systems and processes.

-The ideal applicant will be:
-A qualified ACA or ACCA (ideally Big 4) with significant Financial Services audit experience
-Excellent financial controls, risk awareness and project management skills
-Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business
