Finance Manager

A medium sized, well known, national charity is looking for a Finance Manager to lead their transactional team following a recent restructure. This is a warm and friendly environment, where everyone is passionate about the cause of the charity and thrive of seeing a difference being made.

Key responsibilities:
-Line manage and develop staff including accounts payable and payroll functions
-Ensure accuracy and completion of data on the accounting system
-Maintain the asset register and keeping external reporting up to date, including VAT returns
-Lead on all transactions and the reconciliations activity

The right candidate must:
-Have sound technical knowledge and experience (ideally within the charity sector)
-Have previous experience of managing and motivating a team
-Have a proven track record of delivering high quality work and in a timely manner
-Be highly analytical and have strong communication skills
