Senior Business Services Manager

My client is a small to mid market specialist with capabilities within audit, accountancy and tax. They have an enviable range of clients developed as a result of being embedded in the towns and cities they operate in for generations, across the East and West Midlands.

The role will be to provide a much needed pillar of management to a team in transformation. It will be ideal for either an accountant with a couple of years post qualification to make a first leap in to an Assistant Manager role, or more ideally, a Business Services Manager with aspirations of medium term directorship and eventual partnership within a good firm.

You will review the work of juniors and set the work for the team. As somebody coming in with management experience already, you will be helping win new business, helping resolve any queries with clients, and ensuring the development of the team. Directorship is a goal that could be realised for the best candidates within a couple or few years rather than waiting for somebody to retire in five years time.

You will need to be a qualified candidate to be considered, and at the top end of the bracket, you will be required to have substantial experience leading teams, handling client relationships, and be able to provide some advisory services too.
