The Tax Trainee will be given exposure and experience of all the elements of private client tax in order to develop a broad understanding and develop an expertise in the field. As a full study supported package is included there will also be all the support and training required to gain relevant tax qualifications (ATT and afterwards CTA).

My client is a leading top 50 accountancy practice based near Epsom. They are looking for a trainee tax assistant to join their busy and established private client tax department to gain a broad insight into tax and to progress with the company. In return, they are offering a full ATT study package for the individual.
Description
- Personal tax compliance for a range of clients.
- Assisting tax consultants and managers on more complex cases.
- Provision of tax advice to both compliance and non-compliance clients on a variety of different issues.
- Providing general departmental support including some administrative duties as required.Preparation of personal tax returns for individuals with varying levels of complexity and different tax status.
- Dealing with other compliance issues such as the preparation of simple accounts, partnership returns, and the filings of other types of client tax returns.
- Assistance in providing advice to clients on wide range of issues such as those set out above.
- Dealing with clients and third parties both in the UK and internationally by way of written and verbal correspondence and meetings as required.
Profile
- Minimum BBB at A Level or equivalent
- A desire to work as part of a team within an accounting practice
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline environment
- Good IT skills and receptive to technology changes
Job Offer
Salary 15,000-20,000 per annum.
