A prestigious members club based in the heart of Mayfair is looking to recruit an accomplished Finance Manager/ Financial Controller/Number 2 to manage the core finance and month end duties. The business is owned by a global hospitality group and going through a period of significant growth therefore the Finance Director now needs an experienced accountant to take responsibility for all aspects of the day to day finance.

The role will include the following tasks:

• Full management and streamline of the month end process, this will mainly be overseeing the team but may include some execution
• Ownership of treasury and cash flow
• Responsible for the management and accurate completion of all statutory reporting requirements
• Continuously improve processes and streamline efficiencies around financial control and reporting whilst identifying any risks
• Ensure compliance with relevant taxation - VAT, Corporation tax, Gaming Duty
• Responsibility for the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Manage a team of 3 and hold regular meetings
• Complete VAT and corporation tax returns

• Qualified Accountant with significant post qualified experience (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Experience in the gaming industry is highly desirable but not essential
• Would suit candidates with experience in consumer/customer service focused businesses
• Effective report writing and presentation skills with a level of calmness and gravitas to build relationships across the business
• Adaptable and comfortable with change
• Strong oral and written communication skills
