Financial Controller

Robertson Bell Finance are currently working with a central London NHS organisation to recruit an Interim Financial Controller to fulfill a six month contract. The organisation are of considerable size and have a turnover of around 100 million, there is also significant chance of the role being extended.

The role manages the financial accounting side of the finance team and reports to the Deputy Finance Director. The post holder will have line management responsibility for the team of Financial Accountants and will oversee the year end process. The role also involves working closely with the external audit team to ensure that the organisation is ready for their annual accounts to be audited. You will then have responsibility for implementing any audit requirements in a timely manner whilst keeping the wider team informed.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant that as experience of financial accounting from within an NHS organisation, candidates with experienced gained within a commissioning organisation are encouraged to apply. Being an urgent interim requirement it is essential that you have a short notice period or are immediately available.
