Group Finance IFRS Analyst

This is a unique opportunity to join a large organisation based in Paddington as a Group Financial IFRS Analyst. This role is ideal for an individual wanting to join a collaborative, high performing team and input positively into the company.

You will be involved in the IFRS 16 implementation across the organisation which will involve:

• Liaising with Group-wide IFRS 16 implementation teams to advise on the identification of, and accounting for leases.
• Presenting in workshops and providing support in training to local markets to ensure a smooth transition with the overall IFRS 16 implementation plan.
• Testing IT solutions to ensure that the outputs comply with IFRS 16.
• Providing quality analysis of Group-wide lease portfolios to provide written recommendations.

When IFRS 16 is implemented, your role will focus on engaging in broad IFRS advisory work within the Group's central IFRS team. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be expected to influence, challenge and provide insight where appropriate. Strong IFRS working knowledge is essential as well as a good understanding of IFRS 16. To be considered you will be qualified (preferably in practice) and be a good team player. SAP experience is desirable. There will be some travel to Berkshire.
