Finance Manager

Robertson Bell Finance is working alongside a Christian Charity to recruit a Finance Manager to join their highly capable team based in Oxford. This role will be reporting into the Head of Finance and Operations and will manage one member of staff. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation at a pivotal point of development.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Finance and Operations to bring together the management accounts and the statutory accounts. Responsible for the line management of an assistant who is responsible for processing invoices and accounts payable, the Finance Manager will take strategic oversight of these and develop and improve systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency in the department.

This organisation has some exciting projects in the pipeline and is experiencing a great amount of expansion. They are looking for someone to join them who is passionate about what they do and keen to be an instrumental part in developing the organisation.

The successful candidate will be an experienced accountant, familiar with SORP and will have an understanding of how to put together statutory accounts whether having assisted in the production of these in a previous role or having lead on their production. The ideal candidate will be a positive self-starter, capable of taking initiative and assuming more and more responsibility as this organisation grows.
