Interim Finance Analyst

This role has a lot of interaction with the CFO on a regular basis and you will be his go to person for information, ad hoc reports or information, you will report into the Group FC but everyone mucks in when required. Flexible approach and demeanour is a must.

My client manufactures and distributes customer-specific electronic components to over 25,000 companies around the world to a varity of industries. In the last 6 years they have doubled turnover. They have operation's across EU, Asia and America.

Description

On a monthly basis:

• Data Compilation of FX rates, intercompany sales
• Weekly sales and orders reporting, consolidated, commentary and circulation
• Monthly flash reporting
• 3 Month forecast
• Generate and circulate monthly reports to include metrics, headcount
• Consolidate of P&L by Division and product line
• Adjustments for central recharge offset and intercompany

Ad hoc duties:

• Essbase management including FX Rates, consolidations, changes to product groupings and new or old lines
• Consolidate budget items not performed in HFM
• Quarterly reporting
• Calculation and analysis of central recharges for the Division
• Year end and Half year end presentation of results
• Support schedules for quarterly trading updates

Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Qualified Accountant
• Essbase and HFM exposure and working knowledge
• Advanced Excel
• Strong character, able to present to a high level and interact and work closely with Exec level
• Analytical background
• Able to work under own initiative and must have can do attitude

Desirable:

• Audit background
• IFRS / UK GAAP understanding

Job Offer

This role will start early March and is a maternity cover so could run from 10 - 15mths, a competitive day rate is on offer and there is parking on site.
