Accounts Assistant
Castle Employment is looking for a bright, self-motivated, multi-skilled Accounts Assistant to provide support for an expanding manufacturing business based in Scarborough. This exciting role of Accounts Assistant will encompass the following;
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Sales Ledger - management of ledgers, invoices, credits and receipts
- Credit Control - pro-active management of aged debts, weekly reporting and management of customer credit limits
- Cashbook - daily batch processing and bank reconciliations
- Payroll administration - collation of time-sheets and data entry for payroll runs
- Producing daily flash reports and supporting with month end reporting
- Preparing online banking payments as required
- General finance administration, fielding queries via phone and email
The Candidate:
The successful Accounts Assistant will have:
- AAT Level 3 or above; or be qualified by equivalent relevant experience
- Excellent Computer and technology skills including MS Office; particularly strong Excel skills
- Previous experience of working within a busy, multi-skilled accounts role
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for accuracy and detail
- Confident communication skills with a professional telephone manner to deal with customers and suppliers
- Willingness and flexibility to support wider tasks arising within a small team
- Be a real team player with a "can do" attitude and the desire to further develop skill sets
