Global Finance Transformation Director

A UK based blue chip organisation is looking for a talented transformation leader to partner with the director level finance community and deliver multiple finance transformation programmes.

The role offers the opportunity to define the strategy for finance and build a team of senior professionals to deliver the transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Definition and delivery of the operational finance strategy with a significant off-shoring transition likely.
• An assessment of current ERP system infrastructure and delivery of a programme to optimise the ERP system strategy for the business.
• Delivery of a programme to standardise, localise and optimise all financial processes across P2P, O2C and R2R.
• Creation and implementation of a finance competency assessment model in order to ensure that expectations at all levels in finance are clear and achieved by all.
• Partnering, influencing and challenging CFOs and senior Finance Directors across the organisation in order to agree a vision for finance that all parties buy in to.

Personal and professional competencies:

• Strong background in finance, likely a qualified accountant who has held director level roles within line finance.
• Track record of delivering global finance transformations for multiple blue chip organisations covering: target operating model, shared service centre strategy, ERP implementation and design of finance process.
• Background working in consultancy advantageous due to breadth of experience but not a prerequisite.
• Driven, pragmatic, motivated, humble and a strong communicator who can inspire others.
