Managment Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Reporting & Planning Manager, the role will aid the production of monthly management accounts for internal and external stakeholders and provide input to the annual statutory accounts and the annual audit process. Also, supporting the production of the group's quarterly forecasts. To provide analysis and insight into the various produced in order to assist decision making across the business.

Description

The role will include but not limited to:

• Provide accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring appropriate checks are conducted prior to sign off
• Provide clear and accurate explanations of any significant variances, challenging operational management about actual spend and forecasts when required
• Production of the groups monthly forecasts
• Analyse and provide insight into reports produced to assist decision making

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Fully qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
• Demonstrable background of role of a similar nature
• Ability to analyse data and present financial information
• Strong MS Excel skills and other systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive outlook when approaching problems

Job Offer

Circa £40,000-£43,000 p/a + benefits including 10% performance based bonus
