Tax Director 

World renowned US Private Equity firm is looking to hire a Tax Director to be based in London in a standalone position to report to the Global Head of Tax in the US. As such, there will be a lot of interaction between the US office and the role will involve some travel to US offices.

The role will surround tax matters and strategy for European funds, investment and exit transactions, and US tax compliance. You'll work have to manage relationships with Fund Managers, Deals, Legal and Finance teams, as well as external providers. You'll also be responsible for risk and reporting to internal stakeholders and investors.

Key Duties:

• Tax support for European investment and exit transactions, providing advise on tax structuring and funds tax issues
• Ongoing tax risk assessment for the firm, fund and investors
• Oversight of tax structure implementation and deal support
• Key contact for tax transactions
• US tax compliance, review of Form 1065s and K-1s and all tax transactions for the annual filings, including reporting for investors
• Key point of contact in the UK for fund management, deal teams and partnership accounting

Due to the seniority of the role you must have significant experience in US tax within Private Equity or Asset Management, and be resilient and proactive in your approach. As you'll be the key point of contact in the UK, you must be a self starter and have a robust personality. The role is paying up to £110,000 with a discretionary bonus and benefits.
