My client are an exciting independent content/events agency located in West London. They are seeking to recruit and experienced Financial Controller for their UK office on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Managing Director you shall be responsible for managing all aspects of the finance function on a day-to-day basis. And assisting the management with strategic direction.
Your duties shall include
- Preparation of management accounts - monthly, quarterly
- Budget and forecast preparation
- Management of the P&L, and monitoring on going projects
- Management of cash flow, and bill payments, payroll and any other payments as required
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Main point of contact for the auditors
- Management of 1 assistant accountant
This is an ideal opportunity for;
- A Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
- A strong management accountant, with excellent Excel skills
- Experience of the general ledger
- Good communication skills - and prior experience of working within an SME business
