Management Accountant

The Company

Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a manufacturing company based near Grimsby who are looking to recruit for a Management Accountant for an 18 month contract.

The Job

This job will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for the timely production of management accounts including profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow

Timely reporting of financial/management accounts information to both local management and the group (includes month end financial pack & Group reporting)

Monitor financial controls to ensure they are applied across the business and updated as required

Monitor, reconcile and report key financial and business performance indicators

Monitor and control all balances on the balance sheet

Ensure all reconciliations are performed and correct. All differences to be investigated and explained on a monthly basis

Reconciliation and monitoring of all stocks within the business

Timely production of VAT/Intrastat/EC sales list returns and PSA agreements

Monitor and check payroll data

Actively monitor cashflows including monitoring foreign currency cash

Assist Shared Services Manager with Statutory accounts, annual budgets and forecasts

The Person

Qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with experience in a similar role. You will need strong Excel and IT skills and have good attention to detail
