We are looking for a keen and commercially focussed Financial Business Partner to provide insight and support to our client's Head of Commercial Finance. The successful candidate must have strong reporting and analytical skills and the ability to present information and results in an effective manner. They must be effective in always looking for new commercial opportunities and be able to demonstrate their ability to identify opportunities and contribute to commercial growth. This role will be 50% reporting and 50% commercial insight.
They must be professional and confident, a strong communicator with the ability to manage a number of senior stakeholders and develop key relationships within the business.
Key Responsibilities
 Creation of forecasting and financial models
 Creation financial reports and dashboards
 Analysing financial data, providing insight and always looking for new opportunities
 Working as a key partner with the Commercial, Digital and Lender and Providers teams to ensure growth, profitability and commercial success on an ongoing basis, providing advice and insight for negotiations and commercial agreements
 Monitoring and analysing internal systems and data to ensure functionality and ongoing commercial success
 Identifying new opportunities for further growth
 Monitoring results of SMS and other digital campaigns and providing advice and insight
 Analysing, interpreting and presenting results effectively to senior stakeholders
 Challenging business results and decisions in an effective manner and making recommendations


Essential skills and qualities
 Experience of working in a commercial finance role
 Experience of working as a key business partner
 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
 The ability to present data effectively
 Confident and a strong communicator able to develop key relationships within the business and manage key stakeholders
 An inquisitive mind with strong analytical and investigative skills
 The ability to challenge and interpret results
 Excellent attention to detail
 Commercially focussed with the ability to analyse data and see opportunities
 Confident and an advanced user using Excel
 Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft packages
 Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to multi task and manage a busy   workload
 Flexible and adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude
 Strong time management skills with the ability to analyse
