Commercial Accountant

The Company

Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a service based organisation on the outskirts of Sheffield, close to junction 33 of M1 who are looking to recruit for a Commercial Accountant

The Job

This job has arisen due to an internal promotion and will predominately be supporting Operational Managers with forecasting and budgeting activity

Support Managers with decision making by providing financial information and analysis relevant to the decisions/business cases being considered

Working closely with Operation Managers to assist them in understanding their P&L and operational performance and reporting against budgets and quarterly forecasts

Attendance at operational team meeting, presenting financial information information (KPIs)

Providing financial, operational and commercial support to supply chain managers with subcontractor management

Attending supply chain meetings to discuss performance and re-profiling

Production of monthly performance review packs

Full variance analysis of contract revenue and costs to budgets/forecasts

Preparing contract variations and re-profiles to support achievement of contractual targets

Lead on producing the annual budget and quarterly reforcasts for the division

Scenario analysis

The Person

Qualified Accountant with advanced Excel skills and ideally contractual knowledge and experience of carrying out contract variations. You will have the ability to deliver to agreed timescales and deadlines, have good written and oral skills and be ambitious, passionate and customer focused
