You will have the opportunity to work on future and ongoing productions that are featured on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and local TV channels.

My client is a TV & Film production company that is expanding rapidly in the online streaming space. Although the company enjoys a £50 million annual turnover, it still benefits from a friendly and warm working environment that is reminiscent to the highly demanded start-up culture.
With clients such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and local TV channels, and having produced 2 hit TV-shows in the last year, the company is heading in the right direction to having an expansive presence in the film production sector.
Description
As a production accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring production expenditure and projections against budget
- Updating and reconciling actual production expenditure from systems to excel cost managers
- Monthly cost reporting, meeting with PM's, FC and HOP and summary of productions report
- Cash flow reporting both Internal and external.Create sales invoices weekly, updating billing schedules, maintain debtors and credit control
- Assisting with production queries, planning production and creating cost managers
- Broadcaster cost reports and other financial requirements including bank recs and detail of costs
- Petty Cash advances and returns and reconciliations (including foreign currency), tracking and replenish tins, and ordering of foreign currency
- Credit card returns.Assisting PM's with forecasting costs to complete to end of programme
Profile
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Experience of working in the accounts department of a production company.
- Knowledge of how a production budget is pulled together.
- Effective time management to juggle demands from production team.
- Knowledge of HMRC Film and Television industry guidelines.
- Some experience dealing with payments, liaising with suppliers and the mechanics of the purchase ledger.
- A qualified accountant, with CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (preferable but not obligatory)
Job Offer
You will be joining a rapidly growing and already well-established TV & Film production firm located in central London.
You will be offered a salary between £40,000 and £55,000, depending on your previous experience and the firm's upcoming productions for 2017.
