Alexander Daniels is currently partnering with an exciting organisation, who through significant growth over the year are seeking to recruit a brand new role for a Commercial Finance Business Partner on an interim basis, with the potential of becoming permanent.
This role will report to the Head of Commercial Finance and will ultimately provide commercial support in the implementation of new thinking and new measurement of consumer habits and trends.
You will be responsible for:
- Working cross-functionally across the Business Unit to drive consumer sales and profits
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Managing the analytical process for reporting
- Finding areas of improvement, opportunities and driving "one understanding" between key stakeholders
- Driving analysis to identify to drive performance, communicating this to senior management and seeking to convert this in to tangible results
- Establishing annual sales targets through effective business partnering, staying abreast of current trends and identification of risks and opportunities
- Refining existing planning models and developing new models to best predict sales volumes and operating costs
- Lead the development of annual capex and cost budgets for the Business Unit
- Take ownership of the weekly/monthy/annual reporting for the Business Unit
To be considered for this role you will be:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Experienced in either the retail, FMCG, Sales & Distribution or Utilities sectors
- Experienced in a similar commercial role
- Hands on with a track record of reporting and analytics, and delivering business value through business partnering, improving of processes and project management
- A proactive individual with the ability to think outside the box and find solutions to problems independently
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to influence diverse personality types
- Able to adapt to the changing needs of a business
- A strong user of Microsoft Excel
