Unique opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager to join a well known, premium international brand in Guildford, Surrey.

Your new role
You will join the organisation on an anticipated 12 month temporary basis in the position of Finance Manager.
You will undertake a varied role and your responsibilities will include a mix of monthly, quarterly and year end processes.
Duties will include:
* Ownership and management of balance sheet accounts
* Ownership of month end close
* Control and review of monthly financial close process
* Continuous improvement of the quality of both internal and external financial reporting
* Ensure revenue recognition is in line with corporate reporting requirements
* Providing a high level of customer service within finance and to other business partners
* Delegating and reviewing work carried out by the accounting support team
* Prepare and present at annual balance sheet review
* Audit work
* VAT return submissions and other local compliance filings
* Preparing transfer pricing adjustments
* Preparing tax provisions
* Preparing draft statutory accounts
* Acting as a back up for other areas


What you'll need to succeed
This fantastic long term Finance Manager role would suit a fully qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting skills. You will have a track record of working efficiently with a global company. You will have up to date awareness of US GAAP, corporate governance and tax issues and will have strong compliance and internal controls experience. You will have strong Excel skills and experience of Oracle, SAP or similar. Ideally you will have experience of HFM.
