Management Accountant (Part Qualified)

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting a Part qualified Management Accountant for a leading Service business in Sheffield. This business is one of the most experienced providers in their field with operations spanning all across the UK.

The role of Part Qualified Management Accountant will report straight into the Senior Management Accountant with duties to include:-

* Production of monthly management accounts month to strict month end deadlines
* Accruals/Prepayments, investigating queries, income recognition, partner costs and reporting
* Ensure that information is produced to a high level of accuracy
* Provide supplementary information as requested by the cost centre owner or other stakeholders
* Production of the balance sheet files and supporting information for allocated areas of the balance sheet, including production of month end balance sheet reports.
* Providing direct support to the Senior Management Accountant
* Assist in the planning and integration of new systems & procedures
* Be a primary contact for the year end audit and ensure that all information required is available - dealing with auditor queries as appropriate

To be successful for this role you MUST have the following skills and attributes:-

* 3 Years + experience within Management Accounts
* Part qualified CIMA or ACCA with an intention to continue studies through to completion
* Strong Excel skills
* Knowledge of SUN financial systems would be an advantage
* Ability to liaise and effectively communicate with cost centre holders and other stakeholders
* Proven accounting ability/experience - including strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Working to tight deadlines
* Able to plan own workload and continually look for new ways to improve contribution to the business
* Ability to work closely as part of a team
* Willingness to contribute and to work on new programmes as they are introduced to the business
