Financial Analysis Manager

My client is leading global investor operating across three key regions and in recent years has grown substantially in a number of key markets. Now my client looks to expand their team and has created a new role for a Financial Analysis Manager. As a new position in a fast growing division this person can expect clear progression with the organisation along with continued challenges and personal development.

Key responsibilities include;

• Support the activities of other members through the various stages of a project including business development and analysis, financial appraisals, bid preparation and submission, commercial and financial negotiations, financial close, and subsequent activities
• Build and amend financial models and appraisals in Excel for a variety of projects
• Examine and review financial models/appraisals developed internally or by external financial advisors
• Perform sensitivity analysis
• Participate in the financial and commercial structuring of projects either as part of a bid, subsequent refinancing, project acquisition or divestment
• Select and manage funders and project advisers

The ideal candidate should be looking to develop their career, willing to learn and be self-motivated. You will also need to meet the following criteria:

• Have a ACA or CFA qualification or other related qualifications
• Have advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience of using/developing financial models
• Able to interpret and critique complex financial data
• Have a good understanding of accounting standards and requirements
• Experience in project finance or Infrastructure/Property investment would be an advantage
