Financial Controller

Our client, a global Financial Services organisation based in Redhill has a requirement for a talented and inspirational interim Financial Controller. Leading the financial control teams your primary function will be to take responsibility for financial accounting, controls and compliance across the UK entities. The successful candidate will need demonstrable communication skills to board level and deliver strong financial management and leadership to the team.

Duties will include:
• Manage the control functions and financial accounting
• Ensure that all financial work undertaken is compliant with FSA regulation and group policy
• Conduct team review and performance to assess their suitability
• Assist in the production of financial reports and as necessary support the group
• Report to the board
• Improve the operating model and constantly improve all aspects of financial control

You must have
• A formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• At least 5 years relevant experience in a financial services position
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Available at short notice
