A Greenfield Tax Manager position has arisen for an ultra high growth and impressive investment management firm. It's a highly commercial role and you will gain exposure across the whole range of business lines so it's key you have strong communication skills and are self confident, able to build relationships with senior stakeholders. You will report directly to the FD to ensure tax efficiency is optimised and will be involved with companies throughout the lifecycle of investment.

The role is heavily advisory/project focused and will encompass tax accounting, reporting and compliance oversight. It's a very prominent role within the business and you will have significant input on senior decisions. You'll work closely with investment teams having a huge impact throughout investment lifecycles giving advice that is imperative for decision making.

The role will surround:

  • Advising on transfer pricing
  • Structuring of portfolios
  • Corporate tax review
  • Risk and process improvement
  • 3rd party tax advisor management
  • Review of management accounts
  • Stamp duty tax

The culture is high pressured but fun, with a flat structure and collaborative environment which isn't very "corporate" - setting them apart from their peers! The company is very entrepreneurial, encouraging internal movement around the business, so they are seeking a like minded individual.

Ideally you will be ACA/CTA/ATT qualified with a strong background in UK corporate tax, experience in advising on BEPS and have significant project/stakeholder management experience - no day will be the same! They are open on the candidates they see and will look at candidates moving from a practice or someone currently in a similar Tax Manager role in industry. This is initially a 12 month contract but highly likely to become a permanent position.
