Financial Accountant

This is a great opportunity to join a progressive and fast paced environment where you will be expected to contribute across the finance function and interact with senior stakeholders on both an internal and external basis. The core responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to:

• Leading the month end process from start to finish, including all balance sheet reconciliations
• Continuously improve efficiency of internal controls and processes
• Produce consolidated statutory accounts and work closely with auditors.
• Assist in system implementation project.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Strong background in NFP sector, including excellent knowledge of SORP is essential
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) practice background preferable
• Experience working on Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
• Natural business partner, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholder from across the organisation
