Financial Accountant - Permanent - West Drayton

An experienced Group Financial Accountant is required by this leading global engineering and manufacturing group. Based near Heathrow at the Group HQ, reporting to the Director of Accounting, this Financial Accountant post is a new and varied role requiring strong experience in international group consolidations, statutory reporting and monthly/quarterly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Working in a small team, responsibilities include:

• Support the timely production of group consolidated monthly management accounts
• Support the delivery of Statutory Reporting and VAT reporting
• Support and advise on Treasury Management
• Maintain Entity costing database and reporting
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register

Skills / Experience:

• Excellent general accounting experience within an international group company
• Strong experience of Group consolidation and multi-currency
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Positive and flexible approach
• Strong and supportive team player
• Part or newly qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA),

Ideally you will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. You will require excellent communication skills in order to work with colleagues at all levels of the organisation supporting decision-making through financial insight and analysis. You must be capable of working well as part of a team with tact, sensitivity and diplomacy.
