Credit Control Manager, £35-40,000, North Cambridgeshire

A newly created opportunity for a Credit Manager to join a 10 million pound business in North Cambridgeshire. The position has arisen due to business growth and as a result a potential increase in risk. A Credit Manager is required to tighten processes and procedures and manage a small team. The Credit Manager will be working for a growing and dynamic local organisation who benefit from belonging to a larger US group.

Your new role
The Credit Manager will report directly to the Financial Controller and manage two members of staff. One of the primary responsibilities will be to ensure strong controls and procedures are in place and DSO is kept to a minimum. You will be required to produce reports, forecasts and assist with cash flow management. Although the organisation is growing it is still a small set up and therefore a hands on approach and willingness to get involved in the detail is essential.

What you'll need to succeed
Suitable candidates will have worked in a similar role and must have experience in a business to consumer environment. Ideally you will be CICM qualified with a hands on approach. You will have an eye for detail and be able to respond quickly to overseas requests for information. It is also essential you are confident with the Credit Consumer Act.
