Chief Financial Officer

We are recruiting for a CFO for a business that has a very unique electrical product that is coming to the market very soon. The company has already designed the product, been through their first crowd fund and now has contracts in place with some of the biggest retailers to get this product on the shelves. The role will pay up to £150k + equity. The business is in a very exciting place and has just had a new Managing Director join. The role will be to implement and choose a new financial system, raise finance and pitch to investors for several millions as this product will go into production in the next 6 months. Someone who can really understand the whole lifecycle of getting a product into market and the finances behind that. This person will have to really roll their sleeves up, set up a suite of management reports and work with the management team on their budgeting process. Deal with the audit, statutory accounts production, treasury management and taxation matters. There is currently an interim CFO, and this person will take over and put in best in class processes and procedures, recruit a highly skilled finance team and help to drive the business forward. The ideal candidate must have had fundraising experience, preferably taken a company through a successful sale and be from a product/manufacturing background only. We are looking for a strong Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CA Chief Financial Officer that likes to work in an entrepreneurial fast driven business. Candidates must be on no more than 2 month’s notice and would need to interview this week with me at my Mayfair office, in the first instance.
