European Financial Controller

Your new company
A US owned global manufacturer with an extensive product offering and a turnover of $1bn are looking to recruit a European Financial Controller as part of the European HQ finance team based in Solihull.

Your new role
In this role you will take overall responsibility for the European Consolidation. A key focus will be the standardisation of financial processes and procedures across Europe and you will drive best practice across this region. You will develop a culture of excellence and you will encourage continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA) with experience in a multi-site senior controller role. You will have experience of operating in a complex organisation, ideally in manufacturing. You will have excellent influencing and negotiation skills across a matrix type operation. Experience of SOX, US/UK GAAP and IFRS is highly desirable.
