Assistant Accountant (Manufacturing)

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a leading global manufacturing business in Sheffield. They have multiple manufacturing facilities across the UK and employ over 1000 members of staff. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add to their team with an additional part qualified Accountant to assist both the Management Accountant and Financial Accountant with month end and daily weekly reporting tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Review monthly accounts and report on significant variances
*Accrual /Prepayment journal preparation
*Balance Sheet Reconciliation's
*Weekly/Monthly KPI reporting
*VAT return and other statutory reporting
*Daily sales and order reporting
*Product costing
*Departmental costs analysis
*Preparation of weekly/ monthly margin reporting (Sales & Orders)
*Fixed Asset Register Maintenance/Reporting/Capital Expenditure applications

To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:-

*At least 2-3 years experience working within Management Accounts
*Part qualified CIMA / ACCA
*Degree background and strong A levels would be advantageous but not essential
*Prior experience within a manufacturing environment would be desirable but not essential

This will be a progressive role which will allow the successful individual to develop and gain good exposure to all aspects of finance in a dynamic and fast paced accounting environment.
