Interim Financial Controller

Our client is a private equity backed services company working closely with consumer brands and retail companies. To cover a period of planned absence the business requires an experienced interim financial controller to manage a small finance team of three. Duties will include:  

• Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances to budget
• Business partner with department heads to manage budgets and keep to plan
• Exchange rate maintenance
• Oversee the production and presentation of monthly accounts packs for Executive team including feedback on cash position and rolling forecast
• Audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
• Production of annual statutory accounts and all associated lead schedules
• Review Accounts Receivable and liaise with relevant account managers

You will be a qualified accountant with experience of working within a private equity backed growth company with a strong cash discipline. Preparing and presenting information for the board and external investors makes this a crucial and very visible.
