Accounts Assistant & Purchase Ledger Clerk

THE COMPANY:

The Brewster Pratap Recruitment Group are working with a large turnover, leading technological business in the Scunthorpe area to help recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant with a Purchase Ledger background. My client are easily accessible from Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas.

THE JOB:

As Purchase Ledger Clerk & Accounts Assistant, duties shall include but not be limited to;

• Process purchase invoices
• Create, manage, commit, receive and match all Purchase orders
• Manage and process monthly employee credit card statement, expenses and ensure that expenses incurred/ Claimed are within company policy and coded correctly
• Creditor reports to be reviewed regularly
• Set up and managed supplier and customer accounts
• Raise and issue sales invoices
• Manage and monitor inter - company recharges on a monthly basis and raise inter - group sales invoices as required in the relevant region
• To cover telephone / reception duties as required
• Support for other regions - to be able to support and assist with processing and systems for other regions and liaise directly with employees in other regions
• Ad hoc duties to support FC/FD
• To assist with developing computer systems include new expense system

THE PERSON:

• Computer literate
• Must be able to communicate internally at all levels as well as externally
• Opera/Pegasus experience preferred however not essential
• Microsoft office experience such as Excel and Word

THE BENEFITS:

• Salary of £16,000-£20,000 depending on experience
