An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving group who operate within the import, distribution, real estate and investment sectors. They have a T/O circa £200m, and offices internationally.
You shall be joining as a Group Accountant within a listed business, and report to the executive management team.
Your duties shall include;
- Preparation of annual financial statements of head office companies
- Preparation of budgets for head office companies
- Responsible for interim, and year end group consolidations, and preparation of annual financial statements; from planning through instructions to subsidiaries
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Reviewing and improving the monthly investment portfolio reports, prepared by the assistant accountant
- Key involvement in improving controls and procedures

Your experience shall include;
- A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Have strong multi-currency consolidation experience
- IFRS understanding
- Excellent excel experience
- Experience of working within a SME business, with limited supervision and a strong communicator both verbally and written due to the nature of working with international offices
- Experience of management accounts
