Assistant Systems Accountant

Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting an Interim Assistant Systems Accountant for a large property development organisation based in London. The role is due to last for a minimum of three months with the potential to be extended.

The main responsibilities of the Interim Assistant Systems Accountant will be to answer day to day queries from members of finance and wider staff members in the organisation with systems queries. This will include liaising with IT and the system supplier. Other responsibilities will include helping to identify improvements to the current systems and processes within the finance team, system admin responsibilities on an ad-hoc basis.

The successful candidate will have previously been responsible for a finance system or have excellent finance systems experience. There is no need to be a qualified accountant for the role but experience of working within a finance team is essential. Good communications and having the ability to build relationships easily are essential for the position. No previous specific system experience is required for the role. This is a great opportunity for someone to expand their systems knowledge and you will need to be immediately available or on a short notice period in order to be considered.
