Data Analyst / Pricing Analyst

An exciting opportunity for a Pricing/Data Analyst to join a major Financial Services business based in Gloucestershire.

The Pricing/Data Analyst will assist with supporting the business with daily, weekly and monthly pricing information for various stakeholders in the business. You will provide challenge and insight into the pricing proposal process.

Key duties of the Pricing/Data Analyst role are;

• To generate insight to perform pricing strategy
• Assist with continuous improvement of processes to price new business
• Assist with forecasting retail prices, revenues and margins
• Provide input to the development of best in class financial models
• Assist with ensuring compliance with pricing governance policies and procedures
• Interrogation of data to identify trends and anomalies
• Ad hoc financial modelling of special agreements to understand profitability and inform extension negotiations

The right candidate needs to be a very confident communicator with excellent analytical skills, ideally advanced Excel including VBA and ideally good awareness of the financial services market.
