A leading accountancy practice in the city centre are looking to add a Payroll Clerk to their expanding team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will manage a portfolio of clients and process their payrolls from start to finish.
- Process varied payrolls on a weekly, 4 weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Working to deadlines and liaising regularly with clients via telephone and email
- End to end payroll
- Process new starters and make any changes required by client or HMRC
- Process leavers, calculate final pay and issue P45
- Update HMRC after each pay run
- Year end submissions and production of P60's
- Auto enrolment
- Process SSP, SMP, SPP
In order to be considered for the role you will:
- Have recently worked in a payroll bureau/accountancy practice environment
- Have experience using Sage 50 payroll
- Have managed your own portfolio of clients and processed their payrolls from start to finish
