Company Accountant, Nottinghamshire, £35,000 - £40,000p/a

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working exclusively with a growing manufacturing and distribution business in North Nottingham. They have added an additional £3 million to their turnover in the last 2 years and plan to build on this over the next 12 months. The current Finance Director is stepping into a more Operational & Strategic position to support this growth so is looking to appoint a new Company Accountant.

Your new role
The role will report directly to the Finance Director and support to the broader Senior Management team. You will be comfortable working in fast paced and business position and managing an Assistant Accountant.

Key Duties:

- Preparation of monthly accounts and budgets
- Control of stock levels
- Credit control overview
- Preparation of monthly payroll for 50 employees
- Preparation of Vat returns
- Management of the company cash position
- Provision of financial information such as costings to the management and sales team
- Supervision of one member of staff

What you'll need to succeed
As this is classed as a development opportunity the ideal candidate will be newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA who is looking to develop their career in a fast paced and growing SME business. You will be comfortable in a business facing role where you will work very closely with the Senior Management team.

What you'll get in return
In return you can expect a salary in the region of £35,000 - £40,000p/a and the chance to join a business during an exciting period of growth.
