Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Finance Analyst will be a key part of the FP&A team. Responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting, financial plans and commercial insight for customer P&Ls ensuring that key stakeholders understand current (and future) financial performance, providing challenge and support helping business deliver its KPIs.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide the business with daily sales information
• Build reports by customer at both a Gross, Net Sales and standard margin level, capturing the impact of Promotional Sales Credits and Rebates to arrive at Net Sales.
• Generate and post Accounts Payable journals in support of the month end close process, with specific responsibility for review and maintenance of Credit Provisions in line with sales activity.
• Support the preparation and generation of regional country P&L’s
• Ensure stakeholders understand performance of Customer P&L, by identifying, analysing and explaining key themes and trends.
• Liaise with pricing team on a regular basis
• Weekly sales & margin management, adjustments, accuracy & reporting
• Ownership of Post Implementation Review process based on individual business cases vs performance; critically evaluating and proactively putting forward recommendations.
• Support the Forecasting team to ensure actual trends are understood and reflected within the forecasting process.

 The ideal candidate for this role must have:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Hyperion experience is beneficial
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling & forecasting, scenario & modelling tools.
• Excellent team management experience
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills, to confidently manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
