Sox Tester

Our client is a global Pharmaceutical company who is looking to recruit a Sox/J-Sox Tester on a contract basis.  In this role, you will support the team to deliver the day to day operations of the function to ensure that SOX Compliance is achieved, through the following:

• To undertake testing of J-SOX Key Controls in CLC, Business Process & IT Application frameworks to deliverable dates to standard.
• To provide role cover in case of JSOX team sickness
• To assist with Control Testing status, Sharepoint management & reporting
• To manage register of E2’s and changes/updates required for FY17 to KCL’s etc

The roles would require travel across Europe. You would need to be able to be available to do this during March & April in particular. It would not be the entire period in Europe but need flexibility.

You will need to be an experienced tester and a bonus if done J-SOX testing. There are 3 types of control groups you will be involved in. Would be good if you had experience across all three but it is not critical. Business Process testing experience is definitely needed however! In addition to the testing you will perform some review work, and support on the administration/co-ordination and reporting for JSOX.

Sox Tester - required qualifications, skills and experience:

• A background of risk focussed controls based audits within major multinational companies
• SOX  or J-SOX audit experience – including documentation, testing, remediation and process improvement
• Able to plan and prioritise a heavy workload in a deadline driven environment
• Interpersonal savvy – able to build constructive and effective relationships
• High attention to detail. Composed under pressure
• Drive and perseverance to achieve results
• Pragmatic problem solver – able to apply balanced judgement
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Team player
• Comfortable around higher management –  effective presentation and negotiating skills
• Sensitive to cross cultural issues
• Language skills an advantage but not essential (especially Russian!)
• FMCG or Pharmaceutical sector experience an advantage but not essential
